12Play app: Android APK and iPhone home screen app from the lobby download page

The 12Play app comes in two forms, and which one you get depends on the phone in your hand. Android players install an APK file from the QR code on our Download App page. iPhone players add the lobby to the home screen through Safari, where it opens as a web app in its own window.

There is no App Store or Google Play listing, so a store search will not find us. Both routes sign you in to the same account with the username and password you already use, so nothing about your balance, your VIP tier or your promotions changes when you move to your phone.

12Play app download for Android

The Android file sits behind the Download App link in the lobby menu, which shows a QR code and the install instructions. Scanning is the only step that matters: the QR is built for Android, so point your camera at it from the phone you want the app on, or open the page on a computer and scan the code from there. Once the file has downloaded, your browser hands it to Android’s installer.

Stated

An Android and iOS app.

In practice

Android gets a real APK file you install yourself, while iPhone gets a home-screen web app. Neither one is distributed through an app store, so both are installed from our download page rather than downloaded from Apple or Google.

  1. Open Download App. Use the side menu in the lobby, on your phone or on a computer.
  2. Scan the QR code. Use the Android camera or any scanner; the file downloads to your phone.
  3. Allow the install. Android asks for permission before it will open an APK from a browser.
  4. Open the icon and sign in. Your existing username and password work straight away.

Because the app points at the same account, it reaches the same product set you use on a desktop: live tables, slots, 12Sport, esports, arcade and 12Goal. If you want an overview of the Singapore line-up before you install anything, read it first and come back to the QR.

Allowing the 12Play APK to install

This permission is ordinary Android behaviour rather than anything specific to us. Android keeps installs from outside the Play Store switched off by default, and the first time a browser hands over an APK the system asks whether that browser may install apps. Grant it, tap the downloaded file again, and the install completes in a few seconds.

The sensible habit is to turn the permission back off once the app is on your phone. You only need it for that one file, and leaving it open means any later download can ask for the same thing. You will not need it again until there is a new build to install.

12Play app install: four steps on Android and on iPhone

Your iPhone home screen app

iPhone uses a progressive web app, usually shortened to PWA. In general terms, a PWA is a site that an operating system is willing to treat like an app: it gets its own icon, opens without the browser bars around it, and keeps you signed in between sessions. Nothing is downloaded as a file, which is why Apple’s rules do not require a store listing for it.

Safari is the part that does the work, so start there rather than in Chrome.

  1. Open the lobby in Safari. Other iPhone browsers do not offer the install option.
  2. Tap Share. The icon sits in the toolbar, a square with an arrow pointing up.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen. Confirm the name, then tap Add.
  4. Open it from the icon. The lobby loads full screen, with no address bar.

Since the PWA loads the live lobby each time, there is no version to update and no file taking up storage. If you ever remove the icon, you lose nothing but the shortcut: repeat the three Safari steps and it comes back with your account intact.

Signing in to the 12Play app

The login screen asks for your username and password, with an eye icon to reveal what you typed. If the password is gone, tap Forgot password ? and follow the recovery route, and if you have not registered yet, Create Account opens the sign-up form instead. Our terms allow one account per currency, so there is no separate mobile registration to complete, and the demo buttons on slot tiles ask you to sign in because demo play is not open to logged-out visitors. Our password recovery steps cover what to do when the username itself is the part you cannot remember.

Money rules follow you onto the phone unchanged. There are no promo codes to type: every bonus is picked from the dropdown on the deposit form, deposit bonuses start at SGD 50, and a deposit taken without a promotion carries x1 turnover before you can withdraw. Claims that need a human still need one, so Weekly Rescue is requested through Live Chat on the following Monday whichever device you play from.

Staying safe with an APK file

An APK is just an installer, and Android will install any APK you approve, including one that has been repackaged by someone else. That is the single reason to be fussy about where the 12Play mobile app comes from. Use the QR on the Download App page while signed in to your own account, and ignore files forwarded in a message, posted in a group or offered by a download portal, however familiar the icon looks.

A few checks tell you that you are in the real lobby rather than a copy: the 12PLAY logo, the five VIP tiers from Rookie to Legend, bonuses that can only be selected in the deposit dropdown, and a withdrawal process that insists on a bank account name identical to your registered account name. Add the standard phone hygiene: a screen lock, no shared devices, and a password you do not reuse elsewhere. Live Chat is open 24 hours a day if an install behaves strangely.

Android installs from the QR on the Download App page; iPhone adds the lobby to the home screen through Safari. Both sign in with your existing username and password.

Questions players ask

Is the 12Play app on the App Store?

No. There is no App Store or Google Play listing, so searching a store will not find us. Android installs an APK file from the QR code on the Download App page in the lobby, and iPhone adds a home-screen web app through Safari.

Is the APK safe to install?

Install it only from the QR code on the Download App page, while you are signed in to your own account. An APK forwarded in a message, posted in a group or hosted on a download portal is not ours, and Android will happily install any file you approve. Allow the install for that one file, then switch the permission off.

Does the app need a separate account?

No. You sign in with the same username and password you already use, and the terms allow one account per currency, so there is no second registration for mobile. Promotions are still chosen in the deposit dropdown and claimed the same way, including the Monday Live Chat claim for Weekly Rescue.

What if the Android install is blocked?

Android blocks installs from a browser until you grant permission for that browser, so open the system prompt, allow the install, then return and tap the file again. If nothing happens after scanning, the QR is Android only; on an iPhone use Safari and Add to Home Screen instead, and message Live Chat if the install still fails.
