The number is your total return per unit staked, with the stake included, so a S$20 bet at 1.80 returns S$36 in all, which is S$16 of profit. At 1.40 the same S$20 returns S$28. Anything under 1.50 therefore pays back less than half the stake in profit, which is close enough to risk-free to be useless as turnover.

The practical move is simple. If you are clearing a bonus, keep your selections at 1.50 or above and check the price after any in-play move, because a line that drifted short between placement and settlement is a bet that did nothing for your turnover.

Free Bet Hunting is a 12Sport offer that runs in weekly phases and pays in free bets rather than cash, with the top award reaching SGD 888 for a week.

Points from bets at odds 1.10 and up

Points come from your settled bets, with two conditions attached:

• the bet must be priced at 1.10 or higher
• one point is counted per event, so stacking several bets on the same match adds nothing

That second rule is the one bettors lose points to. Spreading stakes across different fixtures earns, while three separate markets on one match earns once.

Only-win free bets up to SGD 888

The free bets awarded are only-win, which is standard for this bet type: if the selection wins, you receive the profit and not the free bet stake back. A SGD 100 only-win free bet at 1.90 therefore returns SGD 90, not SGD 190. Short prices waste it, so an only-win token is usually better spent on a real price than on a near certainty.
